Founders Southland Merchants

Nadia and Andre were born and raised in Brazil. In 2003 they established their export company and got involved in the coffee industry building a close relationship with local producers. Realising their dream of living in Australia, with its flourishing coffee culture, great people and breathtaking landscapes, Nadia and Andre moved to Adelaide in 2017 with their three children. Now that Southland Merchants is on your doorstep, their team can connect you with Brazil’s finest beans and the pleasure of the world’s best coffee, direct from the origin. Facts from the origin

With an area of 2.4 million hectares to grow coffee and many different altitudes and climates plus the use of different processing methods, Brazil produces more than 50 million bags (60kg) with an incredible number of varieties of Arabica and Robusta coffees. The region where the founders of Southland Merchants are from and the quality department is based at is responsible for more than 50% of the national coffee production.
